Of the Nation, For the People

National Gallery of Art

branded & institutional storytelling, 2 min, 2021

When the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. approached Rava Films to create a film to accompany their new brand and identity launch, we were captivated by the Gallery’s storied legacy as a ‘gift of art to the nation.’ We knew we wanted to capture the many voices of artists and visitors who have graced the museum’s halls. We envisioned a kaleidoscopic short film weaving together archival and new stylized footage, actors and real museum visitors, to encapsulate the National Gallery of Art’s rich history while setting the tone for its hopeful future.
