The Genesis Facade Commission, a project by Hyundai, invites a visionary artist each year to create new artworks for the museum’s iconic main entrance facade. In 2024, the preeminent artist Lee Bul created four sculptures that combine figurative and abstract elements, addressing the aspirations and disillusions that come with progress.

From shooting in Korea capturing artist Lee Bul's process in her studio, to speaking with Max Hollein, the Director and CEO of The Met, this series spanned the globe and brought together voices celebrating the forefront of sculpture, contemporary art and public art today.
